Ergonomics is an applied science that deals with the design and layout of things so that people can use them with comfort, efficiency and safety.
For example, when an industrial designer designs a chair, one of the factors to consider will be ergonomics. This means that the chair will be created to make the user feel comfortable and safe, adapting to a human and his needs, emotions and nature.
