CAM also called Computer Aided Manufacturing and it helps machinist or engineer to plan and manage the manufacturing process of a particular object that is modelled using a CAD software. Some pieces of software like Fusion 360 combine CAM along with CAD (Computer Aided Design) and CAE (Computer Aided Engineering) making it a power combination.
