Biomechanics

« Back to Glossary Index

Biomechanics basically deals with how the human body functions in terms of its mechanical parts. It’s a branch of physics and a mechanical engineering discipline, since it uses the same processes to analyse movements.

It uses mechanics, kinetics, mathematical modelling, measure and computer simulation to gain a better understanding of body movements.

Miroslavo studied sports biomechanics in his university degree and is where he gained the basic understanding of mechanics and engineering.
