La Vuelta, freely translated from Spanish as The Return, is an annual bicycle race that takes place in Spain, Andorra, and France spanning over 3000 km in 21 stages over a period of 3 weeks. Miroslavo, being based in Barcelona and returning from his holiday, used this event which begins there, as an opportunity to express his admiration for the city and mark his return to his daily grind, passion and innovative approach to whatever he puts his mind to. Introducing a medium he is well-versed in—photography—and the ability to capture unique moments, along with his printmaking foundations and last, but not least, painting prowess, he created a stunning mixed-media work of art that expresses his view of Barcelona.
