I Paint to Progress in Life

I paint to grow, to progress and to live a life worth living. When I don’t paint, I don’t move, I don’t live, I just stagnate and do the necessary, but there is no real progress or personal growth.
Art acts as a transformational tool for me to convert emotion and thought into action, knowledge and outcomes, that push me forward. The more art I create, the more I grow as a human being and creator.
Core Beliefs
- I believe in diversity. That's why I use a multitude a colours in my paintings.
- I believe in intelligence. That's why I use symbolism.
- I believe that the only way to live feeling content with oneself is to tap into the creative self, so one reconnects with the inner child.
- I believe in the power of emotion. That's why I pour every bit of what I feel into my art to make it true, make it real.
- I believe in mastery. That's why dedicate a part of efforts into education, experimentation and technical mastery, so I can deliver work at the highest quality.
- When mankind stops taking risks and evolving, it becomes extinct. We choose innovate and create in order to push the human race forward.
- Artists shouldn't depend solely on their art sales to thrive. They should diversify their income streams and reject pressure from society, art institutions and galleries to be a full-time artist, unless one can.
- Life is beautiful with creativity in one's life. On the contrary, without it, life is rudimentary.
- An integrative approach to everything is the future of human thought. Finding harmony between the spiritual, emotional, logical and physical is the way forward.
Mission
My mission as an artist is to inspire personal growth and development in people, to use art as an integration tool to understand the world, as only then we get nearer to being an integrated society, or the Genius Society as I like to call it.
However, for that to happen, people must get in touch with all parts of themselves.

Closing Statement
I try to live a life with the least amount of regret. Following one’s voice is probably the single most important skill one can learn. Taking is as important as giving, life has a moral compass, it will reward you but can also punish you.
If you are reading this, I would say, live authentically, live by being true to you, while trying to survive in this world.
Place your dream at priority #1—everything else follows.
