A few days before Diada 2017 – the official name for the National Day of Catalunya – I decided to express my love for this region located in the north-east of Spain by creating a piece of art in the form of a banner and walk through the streets of Barcelona and just see what happens.

The walk turned out to be a success. I was approached by many people – kids, teenagers, elderly, families – people smiling, giving me thumbs up, taking pictures, thanking me for the gesture. It was great, to be able to touch people’s lives in this way. It was a liberating and unique experience.
