Innovation is a painting that Miroslavo painted in the summer of 2018 and uses purple and pink that appear in his fourth collection.

There are 7 horizontal brushstrokes, which gradually get more narrow forming a pyramid. The colours are painted over it and are in a chronological order as black is the colour which Miroslavo first used in his artwork. Then he added yellow, red, green, blue and lastly pink and purple.

Despite its symbolic pyramid, the elementary symbols of Miroslavo—the triangle, square and circle—are present and painted over it. Finished by his traditional signature, this painting, expresses his view of tradition, stability, innovation, and development.

This art piece is playing with the idea that in life we should have things that give us stability, security, and meaningful environment. At the same time, however, it touches the idea that we should devote part of our energy and efforts to exploring new things and risking to discover fresh knowledge because if we don’t, we eventually deteriorate and die.
