+ ShippingA topic and painting that had been waiting a long time to take form — Denial — something we all face in life, whether we know it or not.
It often operates in silence, hidden deep in the psyche, subtly shaping our choices and holding us back.
This piece began unconsciously. I didn’t plan to paint denial — but it emerged. The head you see in profile formed itself, distorted and abstracted, almost as if denial didn’t want to be seen.
To move past denial, one must first break through it. Not gently — but with rebellion, clarity, and courage. Only then can we start to see what we’ve been denying ourselves: the truth, the life, the freedom waiting on the other side.
This painting is dedicated to that moment — the rupture, the resistance, and the release. To everything we keep buried, and everything we’re finally ready to face.”
