Last week’s international community event in Barcelona was something else! With over 5,000 people, 60 activities, and 120 exhibitors, it was a packed day full of energy, creativity, and connection. I had the chance to host my workshop, “Discover Design and Market Your Personal Brand: Living from Your Passions” and, wow—what an experience!
A Full House (and Then Some)
I was honestly surprised by the turnout. The room was packed to the point that over 20 people couldn’t get in! I felt a bit overwhelmed but super grateful for the interest and enthusiasm. The workshop was all about exploring personal branding and creative self-expression, and it was amazing to see so many people eager to dive into that journey.
More Than Just a Workshop
Even though my initial idea was to do a live painting performance, we ended up going with a workshop format instead. At first, I wasn’t sure how it would go, but seeing the response, I realized that the format worked in its own way. It was an intense but rewarding experience, and the feedback has been really positive. I even got to meet the Mayor and connect with some incredible people throughout the day!
Looking Ahead: Bringing Art to Life
This event made me rethink how I want to approach these kinds of opportunities in the future. I’m now toying with the idea of creating something bigger—maybe a performance-based experience that includes painting and more interaction with the audience. It’s all about finding new ways to bring my art to life and connect with people on a deeper level.
Overall, it was an unforgettable day, and I’m excited to see where this path leads next. If you were there and couldn’t get into the room, I’m sorry! But don’t worry—I have a feeling there will be more chances in the future. Stay tuned!
